Information collected and why
When you order, the shop collects information such as your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, order details and any optional telephone number or order note. This information is needed to process payment, fulfil your order, send order updates and deal with returns or enquiries. If required checkout information is not provided, the order cannot be completed.
Contact-form enquiries contain the details you choose to provide, including your name, email and message. If you subscribe to the website’s newsletter, your email address and subscription preferences are used to send the updates you requested. You can unsubscribe using the link in those messages.
The website and its service providers also process technical information, which can include IP addresses, browser and device information, logs and cookies, to operate the site, maintain security, prevent fraud and understand website use.
Lawful bases
Order processing and related communications are necessary to enter into and perform your purchase contract. Accounting and other required records are retained to meet legal obligations. Responding to general enquiries, securing the website and addressing disputes rely on legitimate interests in running and protecting the business. Newsletter subscriptions and any optional processing that requires consent rely on your consent, which you may withdraw.
Service providers and payments
The website is hosted on WordPress.com and uses WooCommerce and Jetpack services supplied by Automattic. Order details are shared with delivery providers such as Royal Mail as needed to deliver your artwork. Payment information is handled through the payment service you select; card payments use WooPayments and Stripe. Payment providers may perform their own identity, fraud-prevention and regulatory checks. Please do not send card numbers through the contact form or by email.
Providers may process information outside the UK. How long information is kept
Information is kept for as long as needed for its purpose, taking account of order fulfilment, customer support, tax and accounting requirements, disputes and legal claims. Enquiries are retained while needed to respond and resolve follow-up matters; subscription information is used while you remain subscribed, with records needed to respect an unsubscribe request retained where appropriate.
Cookies and external services
Cookies and similar technologies support the basket, checkout, account login, payment security and website functionality. Optional services may also use them for statistics or other features. Use any cookie controls presented on the website and your browser settings to manage cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the shop from working.
